One borough resident's Christmas lights have been repeatedly cut.

The holiday decorations at a Union Avenue house were cut twice last week, and a similar incident was reported by the same resident a year ago, Madison police said.

The latest incidents were reported Dec. 3 and Dec. 5.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 973-593-3000.

The suspect is described as being lanky, possibly wearing a furry green jacket. Eyewitness reports say he was cuddly as a cactus and charming as an eel. Random town narrator reports as "Stink, stank, stunk!" Sorry, had to. :)
