Madison Fire Department Assists With Hanover Blaze

Cause of the fire not yet known.

The Madison Fire Department was among the emergency personnel who assisted with extinguishing a residential fire in Hanover Township Sunday afternoon.

The fire, which was characterized as “minor” and contained to the interior of 1705 Appleton Way, left no exterior damage, according to a firefighter on the scene.

It is not immediately known how much damage the interior of the house sustained or if there were any injuries.

The Morristown and Morris Plains fire depatments also assisted the Whippany Fire Department in extinguishing the blaze.
