Keep Hydrants Clear, Fire Department Says
Fire hydrants shouldn't be covered with snow or debris.
The Madison Fire Department is asking residents to keep fire hydrants clear of snow and debris, and shared a photo that was taken in the borough as one example of what fire hydrants should not look like.
New Jersey is under a state of emergency due to the coming storm. Madison schools are closed Friday, and garbage collection has been postponed.
