Bedrooms Ransacked, Mailbox, Granite Countertops Stolen in Madison Burglaries

Homes on Crestview, Samson avenues hit on same day.

Burglaries of two Madison homes occurred the same day this month, borough police said Friday.

Granite countertops, bathroom cabinets and a mailbox with mail inside were among the items stolen in one incident, and bedrooms were ransacked in the other, according to a Madison police news release.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17,  a resident of Crestview Avenue reported several items were taken, "including the mailbox with mail inside, bathroom granite counter tops, a refrigerator, two fireplace mantles, bathroom cabinets, and two garage door switches."
