Grand Theft Uh-Oh: 'Stolen' Car Just a Misunderstanding
Car missing from Kings Road quickly located.
say they have located a vehicle initially reported as stolen from a borough street.
An alert issued by police at about 9 p.m. Wednesday asked residents to help locate a silver 1999 Subaru Legacy reported stolen between 3 and 5:10 p.m. from Kings Road.
The car was quickly located, according to another alert issued shortly after.

This vehicle was not stolen but brought from one repair shop to another, apparently without the owner's knowledge," said Public Information Officer Lt. Darren Dachisen. "MPD located the vehicle and it was just a misunderstanding between the vehicle owner and the repair shop."
