Florham Park Man Accused of Using Hammer in Madison Fight

Three people arrested Monday in Brittin Street altercation.

A Florham Park man is accused of using a hammer during an altercation with two Madison residents Monday on Brittin Street, police said.

Michael Allocca, 37, of Florham Park, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Domenico Martirano, 22, of Madison, was charged with simple assault and defiant trespass.

Leonardo Martirano, 21, of Madison, was charged with simple assault.

Multiple people brought the fight under control as police responded to the scene. During the altercation, Allocca allegedly struck Domenico Martirano with a hammer.

Martirano was treated for his injuries and all three men were released on their own recognizance pending a court appearance.
