Drew Student Faces Drug Possession, Distribution Charges

New Providence teen found with marijuana, a digital scale, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

An 18-year-old New Providence resident was arrested on drug charges early Saturday after she was found with marijuana, a digital scale and other paraphernalia at Drew University, Madison Police said.

Camille Nadon-Tasse was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Madison Police Officer Bart Glab responded to Drew University with Sgt. James Cavezza and Officer Vincent Dellavalle on report of a student in custody for an alleged drug-related incident at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Tasse was found to in possession of marijuana, a digital scale, packaging materials and other related drug paraphernalia.

Tasse was charged and released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.
