Back Windows Pried Open in Madison Burglaries

A home on Locust Street and one on Wayne Boulevard were broken into last week with jewelry removed from the master bedrooms.

The back windows were pried open and jewelry and other items were stolen in two Madison burglaries last week.

A burglary was reported last Monday, March 24 on Locust Street and a second incident was reported on Tuesday, March 25 on Wayne Boulevard. The rear window was pried open to gain access to each of the residences, police said.

An unspecified amount of jewelry was removed from each of the master bedrooms, police said. A laptop and various numismatic items were also taken from the Locust Street home, police said.

Anyone with information about the incidents can contact Detective Ken Shannon at 973-593-3004.
