2 Madison Officers Injured in Pursuit, Mayor Says

The police officers are 'doing well.'

Two Madison police officers were injured while pursuing a criminal on Monday and are "doing well," the borough's mayor said Monday night.

Mayor Bob Conley said during a Borough Council meeting the officers' injuries were "nothing too serious" and asked people to keep the officers in their thoughts as they recover.

"Today in the Borough of Madison, two of Madison's finest went the extra level to try to protect us with the pursuit of a criminal and were injured," Conley said. "They are both doing well."
