A university public safety officer allegedly found them in their room with the drug, authorities said.

Two Drew University students allegedly were found with marijuana in their room by a school public safety officer on Wednesday and responded to the school and arrested them, authorities said.

Ronald Whaley, 21, of Mahwah and Samuel Feingold, 21, of Jenkintown, Pa., were arrested at 8:49 p.m. by borough Patrolman Vincent Dellavalle, who charged them with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Madison police.

Dellavalle originally was contacted by a Drew University Public Safety officer. Whaley and Feingold were processed at police headquarters and released pending a court appearance, police said. Patrolman Christopher Keller assisted with the arrest.
