Madison Softball Seniors Honored

Trio of Dodgers will be taking their games to different colleges next year.

The softball team closed out the regular season with a 12-1 win over Dayton and a 14-5 win over Dover this past week. On May 12, in the game against Dayton, the Dodgers honored seniors Nicole Iannarone, Kristen Wernsing and Catherine Zimmerman as they completed their final high school regular season game.

The Madison Recreation Center had the largest crowd in recent history to honor and recognize the team's three seniors. Wernsing will be attending George Mason in Fairfax, Va., and Zimmerman will be attending Providence College in Providence, R.I., and Iannarone will be continuing her softball career at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa.

Don't forget to cheer on the Lady Dodgers in their upcoming state tournament games. Check local listings for times and locations. Go Dodgers!
