Children in Grades PreK to Three have created a sister service group which will meet on Friday, Sept. 21, from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.  They will make their own dinner, make cards for soldiers and paint wooden crosses to send with the cards. Director of Family Ministries Mary Lea Crawley said the Sacred Journeys Sunday morning classes have inspired these service clubs. The classes help children “understand their connection to an all-loving God; the importance of their own inner voices, and that helping others is good for themselves as well as the community.”
