n order to become an Agent of Change, a group of local girl scouts need to go on a journey – one that would make a difference.

Troop 94096 in Washington Township did just that, completing a successful campaign to collect goods for an animal shelter in the area.

Ten members of the Troop collected toys, food, play stations and other items to donate to St. Hubert’s / Noah’s Ark in Madison after meeting with Ellen Goldberg at the facility, who explained the shelter’s policies and took the girls on a tour of the facility.

Each Troop member was assigned a task to approach different organizations for donations and reach out to the community.

The Troop presented its efforts to St. Hubert’s on May 22 and completed its journey.

The girls who participated are: Alyssia Malanga, Sarah Lahmidi, Shannon DelGuercio, Leila Lahmidi, Emily Wohlgemuth, Lindsey Bernardi, Taylor Stetz, Morgen Albanese, Shannon Carratura, and Abby Wohlgemuth.
