Madison Education Foundation 5k

The Madison High School Educational Foundation (MHSEF) will hold its annual 'High Five' 5K Run and Fitness Walk and the Madison Mile, a Kids' Fun Run, on Sunday, May 2. Runners and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate in this festive event that includes over 70 awards, goodie bags and a raffle.

Registration fees will go directly to support the Foundations mission of awarding grants to educators who inspire and challenge Madison's students. All students in the district will benefit because after July, the Foundation will change its name to the Madison Education Foundation and expand its scope to serve not only the high school, but grades K-12.

The run starts at 10 a.m. with check-in at 9 a.m.  The Madison Mile, Kids' Fun Run, which is open to ages 10 and under, will start at 11 a.m.  Entry fees are $25 for adults and $20 for students, with a maximum family fee of $50. The Madison Mile Kids' Fun Run will take place on the high school track.  To register yourself, your family and friends, go to www.madisonpublicschools.org/mhsef.
