Afaa Micheal Weaver (Michael S. Weaver) is the author of twelve books of poetry, most recently The Government of Nature (U Pitt 2013).
Gerald Stern was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1925 and was educated at the University of Pittsburgh and Columbia University. In 2012, he was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Shara McCallum is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. Shara McCallum is the author of four books. Since 2003, she has served as director of the Stadler Center for Poetry at Bucknell University, where she also teaches creative writing and literature.
Anne Marie Macari’s third book, She Heads Into The Wilderness, was published in 2008 by Autumn House Press. In 2000 she won the APR/Honickman first book prize for Ivory Cradle, chosen by Robert Creeley.

Gary Short is a Stegner Fellow and the recipient of residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Centrum, and the Virginia Center for the Arts. Short has taught students on both coasts and Alaska.
Judith Vollmer's fifth book of poetry, The Water Books, was published by Autumn House Press in 2012. Her previous collection, Reactor (University of Wisconsin Press 2004), was nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

Joan Larkin was awarded the 2011 Academy Fellowship, one of the poetry world’s most distinguished prizes. After decades as a poet, Joan Larkin is still tunneling into fresh experience to understand herself.
Sean Nevin is the author of Oblivio Gate (Southern Illinois University Press) and a House That Falls (Slapering Hol Press). He directs the MFA Program in Poetry and Poetry in Translation at Drew University.

Geoffrey Brock is an award winning poet and poet translator, Brock's poetry has been featured in several anthologies, including Best American Poetry 2007. His first collection of poetry, Weighing Light (2005), won the New Criterion Poetry Prize.
Ellen Doré Watson's most recent volume of poems is Dogged Hearts (Tupelo Press, 2010). Broken Railings was awarded the Green Lake Chapbook Award from Owl Creek Press.

Alicia Ostriker has published twelve volumes of poetry, most recently The Book of Life: Selected Jewish Poems, 1979-2011 and The Book of Seventy (for which she received the 2009 Jewish National Book Award), The Volcano Sequence and No Heaven.
Jean Valentine was the State Poet of New York from 2008-2010. She was awarded the Wallace Stevens Award by the Academy of American Poets in 2010 and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 2011.
