Morristown Neighborhood House Inspires Cross Cultural Harmony at 11th Annual Community Family Day Festival

Morristown Neighborhood House joins forces with Aramark, a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform and career apparel, to host the 11th Annual Community Family Day Festival.  This free event strengthens ties among different cultures in our community and provides valuable resources to families, with healthy lifestyle and nutrition tips, live music and fun activities. Aramark, the event’s lead sponsor, will host the “Aramark Building Community Eat Smart Zone” and volunteers from Investors Bank will staff the grill serving food to the 2,000 Morristown community members expected to attend.

The dynamic day will be filled with fun and informative events:
• Latino and African-American cultural programs for all ages.
• Aramark volunteers sharing their unique culinary expertise and resources by providing healthy cooking demonstrations, one-on-one health and wellness consultations with Aramark dietitians, and free samples of healthy foods at the “Aramark Building Community Eat Smart Zone.”
• Children, youth and adults from the community taking center stage to showcase their talents, including poetry reading, singing, rapping and dancing.
• Live entertainment from throughout New Jersey to keep the crowd hopping.
• Vendors selling a wide variety of items
• Dozens of nonprofit organizations providing information on services to help children and families.

Visitors will also enjoy carnival games, inflatable rides, ring toss games, face painting, “art under the tent” with hands-on arts and crafts, popcorn, 50/50 Raffle and much more.
