Week in Review: Working Together for Others

Three different events benefited others.

This week on Madison Patch we had a number of stories displaying the better aspects of humanity, as volunteers' faces filled the site. May Day, the Madison High Five 5K and Mr. MJS helped the community and beyond.

On Monday, we brought you a audio slideshow of volunteers beautifying Madison at May Day. We also gave you a story and photo gallery from the Madison High Five 5K, which was benefiting the entire district this year. Finally, we told you about how Madison Superintendent Dr. Richard Noonan said preliminary budget work with the Borough Council has been "constructive."

On Tuesday, we told you about Madison High School super student Akhil Mathew and how he may even be a better person than academic. We also told you about how a 911 call led to a DUI arrest in the weekly police blotter. We brought you the latest results from the Dodgers softball team. Finally, we told you about District 21 Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz is fighting new Kyleigh's Law GDL requirements.
