Week in Review: Celebration of Madison Residents

Championship field hockey team and those who select and donate the Madison Christmas tree were highlighted.

It was a week of recognition for some well-deserving Madison residents. One group was a team that brought home a crown to the high school in November. The other was a few people who help keep Waverly Place looking festive during the holidays.

On Monday, Cindy Loh reviewed Amici's, which is two restaurants in one. We also told you about the Slim-Fast recall and how a Madison grocer made sure the products were off the shelf.

On Tuesday, we told you about the Chamber of Commerce's Downtown Shopping Days this week. We also gave you a look at the Madison High School girls swim team and the season ahead in our winter preview series. We also told you how police charged two people in connection to a stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, we showed you how the Madison High School field hockey team, the Group II state champion, was honored at the Board of Education meeting.
