Week in Review: All Things New in Madison

New season, newly rededicated field, new districts for elementary schools highlight week.

Spring is a time for new beginnings, and this week on Madison Patch highlighted that. Among the new things in the borough that were in the news were the Little League parade ringing in the season, the Madison Junior School softball team playing on its newly dedicated field, and the new redistricting plan for the public elementary schools.

On Monday, we brought you a video slideshow and story from the Little League parade that rung in the new season. We also showed you the smiling faces we found at the Hearts for Haiti Kids' Fun Day at the Madison Community House. We also told you about how a woman gave police a false name in the police blotter.

On Tuesday, we told you about how members of the community came together to donate time and money, making the first Madison Junior School softball game on the team's home field in over 50 years a reality.
