The Rotary Foundation’s Group Study Exchange program is a cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for businesspeople and professionals between the ages of 25 and 40. Team members experience the host country's culture and institutions, observe how their vocations are practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas. As ambassadors of Rotary, team members share their personal, cultural and professional experiences with those they meet in their host country.

While abroad, team members stay in Rotarians’ homes and have the opportunity to meet their professional counterparts. They will also give presentations to Rotary Clubs and other groups about the U.S. and their local area. The GSE Program is designed to develop professional and leadership skills among young adults, so that they can address the needs of their communities and an increasingly global workplace.
