Wheels in Motion for Rotary Family Festival's Return

Four-day fundraising carnival to start May 31; half-price ride ticket locations announced.

The , a four-day fundraising carnival next to the New York Jets training center, returns this year starting May 31, according to a news release from Carmela Moeller of the Rotary Club of Madison.

It will feature food, music, children's activities and fireworks, according to the announcement, below.

The Rotary Clubs of Madison and Florham Park are happy to announce the early return of the Rotary Family Festival, scheduled for May 31 through June 3 at its previous location, 180 Park Avenue, Florham Park, adjacent to the New York Jets Training Facility, generously donated by the Rockefeller Group.

The four-day event is a fundraising effort to enable both Rotary clubs to continue to support community projects and non-profits in the area.

The festival will feature a full carnival with games and rides for both adults and children, and a food court. Entertainment will include daily musical performances, ranging from rock to classical, organized by the Madison Arts & Cultural Alliance.

Also included is a fireworks display by the Garden State Fireworks Company at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 2.

Glitter tattoos and face painting will be provided by and additional children’s events are being organized by the and the .

Hours of Operation are:  Thursday (5/31) – 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.; Friday (6/1): 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.; Saturday (6/2): 12:00 noon – 10:00 p.m.; Sunday (6/3):  noon – 9:00 p.m. On-site parking is free. Handicapped parking will be available.

Daily admission is $5; a four-day Festival Pass is $10.  Students (with ID) will be admitted free on Thursday.

Half-priced tickets for Carnival Rides will be available at the following locations in Florham Park: Borough Hall, Florham Park Liquors and Eddie’s Barber Shop.

In Madison, half-priced ride tickets will be available at ; , , and .
