Rebholz Appointed To Vacant Council Seat

Former councilman returns to replace Jeannie Tsukamoto.

Ed Rebholz was appointed Monday night to the Borough Council seat that was vacated with the resignation of Councilwoman Jeannie Tsukamoto.

Rebholz, a former Madison councilman, was appointed by a 4-0 vote. Councilman Rob Catalanello abstained.

Rebholz was not present at the meeting and is expected to join the governing body at a subsequent meeting. He emailed his qualifications to the Council before the meeting.

The other two GOP nominees for the vacancy, Council candidate Pat Rowe and former Councilman Martin Barbato, gave statements outlining their qualifications before the vote.
