NYC 4:43 p.m. Departure Toward Madison Back On Track

Train was originally canceled due to heat-related equipment failure.

The NJ Transit train that was originally cancelled by the organization is back up and running, it announced within the last hour.

Train 6343 scheduled to depart from New York City at 4:43 p.m. this afternoon on the Morris & Essex line–the line that serves Madison–was originally cancelled due to heat-related equipment failure.

Those failures contributed to the 30 minute delays experienced by many on Tuesday, as well as delays this morning. However, as of now all trains are operating as scheduled, including the one that was originally canceled.
