Consignment Store, Pfizer 5K, Pool Opening This Week

Pfizer 5K Run With Pride: An annual 5K race to support Project Community Pride is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Giralda Farms office campus. This year's race comes two months after race sponsor Pfizer and its animal health subsidiary Zoetis announced employees are relocating from their current space at 5 Giralda Farms to new offices nearby. Pool Opens: Madison Community Pool opens for the season at noon on Saturday.

Memorial Day: Schools are closed Friday and next Monday, Memorial Day. Madison will observe Memorial Day with ceremonies beginning at 9:15 a.m. at Condurso Park. A memorial float made by the Madison High School wood shop, and the Madison High School band will be joining the parade to Hartley Dodge Memorial.
