Meet Your New Madison Patch Editor

Look out for Office Hours to be announced soon.

I am the new editor of Madison Patch and wanted to take a second to introduce myself.

My name is Jake Remaly. I started with Patch in August, covering Montville, and am excited to now be covering Madison.

A few of you might remember me writing about Madison for the Daily Record and Madison-Chatham InJersey.

I have been reading the news developments in town with interest, and I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Taste of Madison.

Of course, the most important voice on Madison Patch is yours—whether it's commenting, blogging, uploading photos, adding events to our calendar, managing your business listings, posting reviews, and publishing announcements (check out any of those links if you're interested in doing those things yourself!)—and, yes, even just plain reading (you can always sign up for the newsletter and 'Like' us on Facebook).

You’ll be seeing me around town. Be sure to say "Hi" when you do. My contact info is jacob.remaly@patch.com and 973-452-1013

Welcome aboard Jake! Based on your photo you clearly have all the qualifications necessary to be the Patch Editor... Best of luck in your new role. For better and for worse, I think you'll find the Madison Patch contributors to be a bit more um... 'passionate' then they probably were in Montville, But that's just a hunch Can't help but ask, where did Stuart Chirls move on to?

I echo Slip's welcome. What a great night to introduce yourself. You will have a perfect opportunity to meet practically the entire town, w the exception of the infamous Mr. Wells, of course. Welcome aboard and best of luck.
