Madison Rotary Supports Scouts' Leadership Camp

47 boys and girls took part in an educational summer camp.

Team Eagle Foundation and the Patriots’ Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America joined forces to sponsor Leadership Excellence Direct Results, a program for high school age students across New Jersey with an interest in career development and public service.

Forty-seven girls and boys from 14 New Jersey counties jump started their college careers by joining their peers for a fun-filled and educational “summer camp.”

The students, who were nominated by their school or youth group counselors or other mentors, were accepted to participate in the week-long program in a camp setting that included day trips and seminars focusing on life skills and pursuing careers in environmental studies, education, health care, government, and criminal justice.
