Madison Rotary Elects New Officers

Carmela Moeller hands off president's gavel to R. Camper Bull after a 'very good year.'

The Rotary Club of Madison seated a new leadership team at its annual Installation Dinner this month, the service organization announced.

President Carmela Moeller handed over the gavel to new President R. Camper Bull, and President-Elect Deb Starker and Vice President Ernie Cicconi also were introduced.

The dinner was held June 5 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange.

Moeller recalled her tenure as president as a “very good year,” marked by the celebration of the club’s 90th Anniversary, recognition by several organizations of Rotary's contributions to community, and assisting Union Beach by raising funds at the Annual Family Festival, providing clean-up and tear-down assistance, and securing a $5,000 grant provided by Rotary District 7470.

Jim Allison, Zander Oldendorp, Bridget Richter-Hajduk and Shant Harootunian were elected to the Madison Rotary Board.

The club also recognized several members for embodying Rotary's motto of “service above self”: Ernie Cicconi, Diane Mann, David Morozoff, Zander Oldendorp and Joe Smith.
