Organizers announce new group offer.

The annual Taste of Madison fundraising event is on Monday, April 15, and organizers are urging guests to purchase their tickets now before they sell out.

Taste of Madison, which is presented by Gary's Wine & Marketplace, is one of the premier wine and food tasting events in New Jersey. The event is being held at elegant Park Avenue Club at 184 Park Ave. in Florham Park. The tasting tables are hosted by Madison's best chefs and Gary's distinguished wine vendors. The wine vendors represent prestigious foreign and domestic vintners.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available Gary's Wine & Marketplace at 121 Main Street in Madison and via TasteofMadison.org. Tickets are also available at Gary's other locations in Wayne and Bernardsville.

New offer

The Taste is offering a new group ticket discount. Six tickets can be purchased at the same time for the price of five tickets.

"This special discount is perfect for families and friends who want to attend the Taste together and have a great time," said David Morozoff, one of chairs the Taste of Madison Organizing Committee.

Tickets are also available in Madison at d torr boutique, 36 Main Street, and Salvatore Minardi Salon, 8 Park Ave.

Along with the wonderful food and wine, the Taste showcases a silent auction, tricky-tray and a 50/50 raffle. Last year almost 500 guests attended the 2012 edition of the Taste of Madison.

Almost 100 Madison-area businesses have contributed food, wine, merchandise or financial support to the Taste. Proceeds from the Taste benefit the charitable causes, civic improvements and business development in Madison implemented by its three producing, partner organizations.

These organizations, which are community-based non-profits, are the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Development Commission of the Borough of Madison, and the Rotary Club of Madison. The Taste organizing committee is comprised of volunteers from the three organizations.
