Hartley Dodge Ornament to Benefit Borough Sports

Limited-edition decoration offered to mark re-opening of municipal building.

The Borough of Madison is selling a limited-edition Christmas tree ornament to commemorate the re-opening of the Hartley Dodge Memorial Municipal Building.

The ornament comes packaged with a historical guide in a special gift box, and all proceeds benefit the Madison Athletic Foundation.

The 2010 fundraiser marks the 80th anniversary of the death of Marcellus Hartley Dodge, Jr., to whom the Madison municipal building is dedicated. Dodge, a native of Madison and heir to the Remington-Rockefeller fortune, died at the age of 22 in a car accident in France in 1930.
