Government Meetings, Free Fun for Kids Upcoming

Be it government business or family fun, there's something on the calendar every day of the week in the Rose City.

July 11: The Mayor and Borough Council meet at 8 p.m. at . The governing body is scheduled to vote on an emergency appropriation of $600,000 for a townwide property revaluation, among other agenda items.

July 12: An evening of free fun-filled family entertainment at Chatham High School, 255 Lafayette Avenue, Chatham. Children’s activities are scheduled from 7:15-8:15 p.m. with music by Krazy Kat DJ Productions before “Despicable Me” is screened at 8:15pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs!

July 13: The hosts “Musical Instruments from around the World,” a program for all ages from the Morris Museum. Participants will experience a multi-sensory exploration of music by seeing, hearing and touching diverse instruments, and learn a little bit about the culture that created each instrument. This is certain to be a fun-filled program for all ages.
