A weekend wine-tasting to benefit Grace's community services.
$85 per person

Sunday at 2 p.m. at the , 9 Main St.
Why go: To ring in the Year of the Dragon!
Cost: $3 for participants.


When/Where: Chatham Middle School, 480 Main St., Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m.
Why go: Watch a cast of 73 middle schoolers portray the tale of a young girl trying to find a role in traditional Chinese society.

When/Where: Saturday, 7:30 p.m., 94 Fairmount Ave.
Why go: Because how often do you get to see your church minister rocking out on the guitar? Rev. Shawn Garvey and Talley Summerlin play alternative acoustic music for congregants. Plus, there's food.
Cost: $15

Why go: Hands-on experiments and displays to help kids of all ages learn a little more about the earth, from plant DNA to outer space.

Why go: You like cool jazz, Latin and classical sax and clarinet from a master of the craft.

Why go: You refuse to take the winter off from your training regimen.

Why go: Three professional comedians, dessert, coffee and tea makes for a nice night out.

Why go: Before you plop in front of the tube for the Super Bowl, put on your running shoes and join 1,000 other runners for this inaugural event.

Everyone should come out to Fiddler on the Roof, jr. this Friday (Feb 3) and Saturday (Feb 4) night at the Madison Junior School at 7:30pm! A great show for the family. Tickets available at the door.
