Craft Beer Benefit, Food for Fines on Tap This Week

Veterans Day: Madison borough offices are closed Monday in honor of the holiday, which was Sunday.

Tsunami Survivors: Students from five Japanese high schools are scheduled to present their experiences with disaster and recovery from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham campus.

Board of Education: The Madison Board of Education is scheduled to meet in the high school media center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Food for Fines: The Madison Public Library this week will accept canned food for the Interfaith Food Pantry as a way of paying off library fines.

Craft Beer Benefit: The "Save Our Shore" benefit at the Park Avenue Club scheduled for 7  to 10 p.m. Friday features a craft beer tasting with food pairings. Tickets are $60 and all profits are going to the Red Cross to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, organizers said.
