Boro: Drought Conditions Spur Water Restrictions

Limit outdoor water usage for activities such as watering lawns to overnight hours every other day, Madison announced.

Limit outdoor water usage for activities such as watering lawns and washing cars and driveways to overnight hours every other day, and consider implementing other water conservation measures.

That's the message from the Borough of Madison because the borough is "currently experiencing drought conditions," according to a message on RoseNet.org:

As we are currently experiencing drought conditions, we invite all Madisonians to observe voluntary indoor conservation measures. We also ask that you limit your outside water use to alternate days, and only from 8 PM to 8 AM.
