17-Week-Old Misty Needs A Home

If you're looking to give an adorable pet friend a home this weekend, look no further. Each week we'll highlight some of the many available pooches and kitties currently in foster homes through Home For Good, a non-profit dog rescue based in Summit, and through St. Hubert's Animal Shelter in Madison. St. Hubert's

• Claudia: This black, domestic medium hair is spayed, up-to-date with routine shots and house-trained.
• Pound Puppies: These beagle mixes are 3-1/2 months old, both males and females. Like all puppies, they need training in both housebreaking and basic obedience. Also, like all puppies, they are sweet and playful!
• Gucci: Gucci is a three-year-old female pit bull mix. Gucci is best suited for a home with adults or adults and older kids (no babies or toddlers). She may be OK with another dog, but not a cat.
• Fluffy: Fluffy is a one-year-old, male Lhasa Apso. Fluffy is a little timid when you first meet him but warms up quickly and will enjoy sitting on your lap and getting petted. He has a sweet personality and loves to play, especially with a tennis ball. He is housebroken and walks OK on a leash. He also plays nicely with other dogs and gets along well with kids.
• Confetti: Confetti is a brown tabby who has been spayed, is up-to-date with routine shots and is house-trained.

Home For Good

• Max: Max is a young hound mix, approximately eight months old. He is a sweet boy and is handsome, too. He was a resident of one of the local dumpsters until he was discovered late one night. He gets along well with other dogs.
• Darcy: Darcy is a labrador retriever mix who loves to play and arrived with her siblings in the Irish litter.
• Gigi: Gigi is a seven-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. Gigi was living in a cold garage for some time. She is a very sweet girl who is looking for a home where she can be loved. She loves people and would be happy laying on the couch or going for a nice walk.
• Misty:  Misty is a 17-week-old Weimaraner mix. She is a beautiful and sweet, gentle girl. She loves to play but her favorite thing is to cuddle and snuggle.
• Chewbaca: Chewy, short for Chewbaca, is a one-year-old Yorkie mix. He loves children and other dogs. He weighs about 20 pounds and loves to be with people. He would do better in a home with kids over 10 years of age.
