What about Central Lunch, AKA Joey's. It's on Central avenue. It's been their 84 years, as of July 13th. Everything is fresh made to your order, not taken out of the fridge. And, you can ask Joe to make anything you order to your particular taste! His Klondikes are famous and his french toast and pancakes are the best in Madison. The atmosphere is like the TV show "Cheers" Everyone is a friend and a regular at the counter and in the half booth at the end of the counter.

Added The Waverly Restaurant, Central Lunch and Atlanta Bread to the list. No excuse for leaving them off in the first place. I need to be more careful. Sorry! If one of those is your favorites, hopefully it's not too late for them to get some votes and make up lost ground. And don't forget, going to the business' page and posting a rating/review can go a long way in these Readers' Choice contests.
