Visit Madison Stores for Chances to Win Gift Baskets

Shoppers who visit certain Madison businesses Thursday can earn raffle tickets for a chance to win gift baskets.

The Madison Chamber of Commerce is inviting shoppers to meet merchants, shop with friends and enjoy entering to win free merchandise and products donated by borough businesses.

The more businesses visited, the more chances to win. You can earn additional tickets by making a purchase. Participating merchants will display balloons outside their premises.

The Holiday Open House will begin at the start of business and continue throughout the day.  Baskets will be on display at Doodlebugz, 55 Main Street, and winners will be chosen at 6 p.m. The winner does not have to be present.

"The merchants are opening their doors to everyone and welcoming the holiday season with this extra special event," said event chairman Carmen DeRosa, owner of PC Problems, 50 Main Street. "Please come down and enjoy the festive atmosphere and see what your favorite stores have to offer."

"Everyone who joins us on December 5 will have a chance to enter our basket raffle and win some great products," said Karen Meyer, executive director of the Chamber. "The businesses are putting their best foot forward. It's their gift to you in thanks for shopping local."
