Il Monde Vecchio is the grandmother of great Italian - it was the inspiration (and same owner I believe) of the great Scalini Fedeli of Chatham and NYC fame. The food here is outstanding, as good as some of the best city fine dining Italian places. Bring your best bottle of Barolo, and have a great time. Make reservations in advance. On a budget? Come for lunch.
