As part of The Novartis Group’s 18th annual Community Partnership Day worldwide, a group of employees spent a workday at Dress for Success Morris County in Madison.

Dress for Success Morris County promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire as well as a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

The team of volunteers spent the day organizing donated clothing at the nonprofit in order to select coordinated interviewing outfits for 50 women in transition.

Dress for Success is dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.

The volunteers on the team, from Novartis Consumer Health and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., were among more than 2,000 associates from the Novartis Group companies who provided hands-on support that benefited nearly 80 nonprofit agencies throughout New Jersey.

“Investing in the communities where we live and work is a defining part of the culture and fabric of our company,” said Kevin Rigby, vice president and US Country head of Public Affairs at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. “This annual day of volunteerism gives our employee teams an opportunity to join hands in service with our outstanding nonprofit partners to help make a positive, long-lasting difference in people’s lives."
