Boost Your Business and Taste of Madison

Organizers announce corporate sponsorship opportunities, including a new sponsorship level this year.

The Taste of Madison 2013 is now offering corporate sponsorship opportunities that will simultaneously improve Madison and local businesses, organizers have announced.

The Taste of Madison, which takes place April 15 at the Park Avenue Club, is one of the premier annual tasting events in New Jersey and a primary fundraiser for its partnering, host organizations: Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, Madison Downtown Development Commission and Rotary Club of Madison.

Last year's Taste drew almost 500 guests and was the social event of the year in Madison. In 2012, almost 30 of Madison’s very best and most generous restaurants and merchants participated in the Taste by contributing their own fine food and wine, along with their time and expertise.

Corporate sponsorships allow companies in other fields to lend a hand financially to the cause and to join in the fun.

The six available sponsorship levels, listed below, include exposure for each company as a supporter of the Taste of Madison and other benefits. As many as 12 free Taste tickets for sponsors, their colleagues and customers is one benefit of the Platinum Sponsorship.

'Community-based mission'

The chairs of the Taste of Madison for the second consecutive year are David Morozoff of the Rotary Club of Madison, Maureen Byrne of the Madison Downtown Development Commission and Danielle Torrani Dixon of the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.

“The Supporting Sponsor and the Bronze Sponsor levels are perfect for smaller companies that want to assist the Taste and its community-based mission,” said Dixon, the owner of d torr boutique, 36 Main Street.

The Taste of Madison Organizing Committee recently published and mailed a brochure containing detailed sponsorship information to local businesses, and the brochure is available from Byrne, Morozoff and Dixon and other committee members.

Byrne can be reached at tmbyrne1@verizon.net and 973-714-0110. Byrne, Torrani and Morozoff are able to answer questions and reserve sponsorships.

“We’re planning on making this year’s 12th edition of the Taste the best ever,” Byrne said.

“A sponsor of the Taste of Madison is a true friend of Madison,” according Morozoff, the branch manager of Hilltop Community Bank, 177 Main Street.

Net proceeds of the Taste of Madison fund charitable causes, business development and civic improvements throughout Madison. The 2012 Taste of Madison distributed $36,000 in net proceeds.
