Shakespeare Theatre Seeks Volunteers for Season

The is seeking volunteers to assist with ushering, concessions, and gift shop operations during the 2011 season which begins in June.

The company will hold a Volunteer Open House on Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue, in Madison.

Community members interested in volunteering are invited to attend this open house to find out more about the Theatre and volunteer opportunities, meet the professional management staff as well as veteran volunteers, and learn about the upcoming season from Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte.

For each performance a volunteer works, they receive a ticket voucher good for one admission throughout the season.

Volunteers are also needed for the Theatre’s production on its Outdoor Stage at the Greek Theatre on the campus of the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, June 22 through July 31.
