Rock Band Kings Road to Play Free Show Downtown

Shows every other Friday on the lawn of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts are under way.

A free concert featuring the classic and alternative rock band Kings Road is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the , 9 Main Street, as part of the Downtown Concert Series, according to an announcement for the event.

The band's playlist will appeal to attendees of all ages, and residents are invited to come out and have some fun, a museum news release says. Picnicking is welcome.

A local favorite, Kings Road plays a wide variety of rock styles and features harmony vocals and melodic instrumentation, the announcement says. Band members include Val Schuszler on lead guitar, Johanna Habib on keyboards, Roy Fertakos on bass, Diane Kirsh on vocals, Chris Wolfe on drums, and Michael O’Keefe on acoustic guitar.

The Downtown Concert Series is a lineup of free, Friday evening, family-friendly concerts held every other week on the museum lawn.
