MACA Holiday Arts Festival

MACA  is presenting its sixth annual Holiday Arts Festival to be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 from noon to 7:30 pm. The festival provides performances throughout the afternoon and evening at various downtown Madison venues, such as Atlanta Bread Company, On A Roll, Grace Episcopal Church, St. Vincent’s Church, the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, The Blue Purl, the James Building and Shanghai Jazz.  All events are free to the public.

This year MACA has expanded its line-up of performers and events to include perennial favorites Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey; Dance Innovations Performance Company and jazz pianist Jerry Vezza.  And we have added some new entertainment as well including Madison High School Marching Dodgers, caricature drawings by Drew art student Andrew Pungot, and rock band Kings Road.

All the MACA activities are scheduled around the traditional Santa Parade at 5:30, always a favorite and a popular Madison tradition.

The Holiday Arts Festival is presented at no charge to the public thanks to the efforts of The Madison Arts & Culture Alliance (MACA), a coalition of arts organizations, cultural institutions, historic societies, colleagues and friends, dedicated to encouraging collaborations among the wide ranging cultural offerings in Madison.
