Guitar Bob Performs in benefit for Firefly Foundation

On Saturday April 10, from 11:15am to 12:30pm, The Firefly Foundation and KnowledgePoints Learning Center invite you to join Guitar Bob as he leads a program of music, singing, dancing, reading and prizes in a benefit for the Firefly Foundation, a non-profit that promotes literacy for New Jersey's youth.

Guitar Bob is an acclaimed musician and recording artist specializing in original children's music. The Music & Literacy Program was developed for children and their families to increase oral language skills, social interaction, and improve literacy practices in the home.

Firefly Foundation fosters a balanced approach to literacy – reading, comprehension, writing and speaking, in the belief that this is the most effective way for children to develop a strong educational foundation. The foundation provides children from urban areas and other pockets of need in New Jersey exposure to quality books. Firefly Foundation also works with youth organizations, libraries and community centers to develop solid parent and child relationships focused on literacy.
