Bottle Hill Day Highlights Madison's Spirit

Scenes, interviews from annual community festival.

Video footage from this year's Bottle Hill Day has been posted on YouTube by RosenetTV.

The seven-minute video gives an overview of the annual community festival, which draws thousands of people to downtown Madison the first Saturday in October, and includes interviews with Borough Council candidates, Madison Mayor Bob Conley, the Madison Shade Tree Commission, a salon owner, and leaders from the Downtown Development Commission and Madison Chamber of Commerce, as well as the mayor of a neighboring town.

Praise for Madison's community spirit and volunteers is a theme throughout.

The video is by the same producer, Robert Kopacz, who aims to create a documentary about Madison's partnership with Union Beach to help the shore town recover after Superstorm Sandy. His crowd-funding page for the project showed he had raised $1,350 of his $9,000 goal as of Tuesday morning.
