St. Hubert's Helping Shelters, Pets Impacted by Sandy

Woodland Avenue location is serving as a regional distribution center for needed pet supplies.

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center is accepting and distributing donations to help shelters and families with pets impacted by Hurricane Sandy, according to the organization's website.

Supplies are accepted at the center's Community Room, 575 Woodland Ave. Those in need of donations are encouraged to call Nora Parker at 973-377-7094 ext. 226.

  • Cat Food—Canned (Cats under stress often eat better when canned food is offered)
  • Cat Food—Dry
  • Kitty Litter
  • Dog Food—Canned and Dry
  • Small denomination Petco or PetSmart gift cards to be distributed to individuals to replace pet items lost in the storm
