Spring Sales Day, Little League Parade Coming to Downtown Madison

Teams will march down Main Street and businesses will offer special deals on Saturday, April 26.

The Madison Chamber of Commerce's Spring Sales Day will coincide with the Little League opening day parade on Saturday, April 26.

The Madison Little League teams will march through downtown starting at noon from the parking lot of St. Vincent Martyr Church. The players will head down Main Street to Dodge Field.

Madison merchants will offer extra savings, markdowns and fresh new spring merchandise during that day as well.

“It’s a perfect reason to get out of the house after this long winter,” said Karen Meyer, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

Participating merchants will set up tables outside their stores to showcase their special offers.

“With the warmer weather upon us, we will enjoy seeing people strolling through town shopping and dining," said Jacquie Dismore, owner of Doodlebugz. We are pleased to be able to give shoppers an additional reason to 'Shop Madison.'"

Free parking will be available at lots on Waverly Place, Cook Avenue, Elmer Street and Kings Road. For more information on parking, visit www.rosenet.org.
