Local Band Crabdaddy to Perform in Summer Concert Series

After a hiatus, the area band is back to perform in Madison.

Forty years ago, a group of friends got together to perform at school dances and weddings, changing their name twice along the way. After a hiatus quieted the music, the same six guys came together again as Crabdaddy and are now on their way to Madison.

The 60s-style rock band will be performing at the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts' Downtown Concert series July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The free Friday-night concerts take place on the museum's front lawn and picnicking is welcome. There will be two more concerts this summer set to take place Aug. 8 and Sept. 12.

Interested persons are asked to call 973-377-2982 ext. 10 or visit the museum's website for more information.
