Learn Irish History and Make Crafts on Lucky Leprechaun Day!

Madison Borough Council, Planning Board and Board of Ed all meet this week.

The Madison Borough Council will meet Monday night at 8 p.m., while the Planning Board will convene Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday—The Chamber Society of Lincoln Center will perform at concert hall at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $55.

Tuesday—The Board of Education will meet at at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday—The will host Stories and More from 10:30 to 11 a.m. The program is geared toward children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers and will introduce listening skills through theme-based playful stories, finger plays and songs. Children can also participate in creating crafts associated with the stories.

Thursday—The hosts Lucky Leprechaun Day!, for children ages 5 to 10 to learn about Irish history and participate in craft-making. The program will run from 3 to 4 p.m. Advance registration is recommended.

Friday—The Spring Musical continues through the weekend. There will be four shows, starting Thursday night at 6:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Saturday—The Morris Museum Astronomical Society will host Astro Day with a children's science workshop from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a chance to observe the night sky from 7 to 9 p.m.

Sunday—The Macculloch Hall Historical Museum in Morristown will host Hearth and Home Family Day from 1 to 4 p.m. Those in attendance will learn about children’s chores and family life in 1810. Reservations are requested.
