Junior School Hosts Jersey Intergenerational Concert

Madison High wrestling and boys basketball teams compete in tournament play.

The Madison High School wrestling team opens the state sectional tournament Monday night, while the Dodgers' boys basketball team continues its Morris County Tournament march against Delbarton on Saturday.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday—The wrestling team opens the state sectional tournament with a quarterfinal-round matchup at home against Belvidere at 7 p.m.

Tuesday—The Board of Education will meet at at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday—The Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham hosts On the Right Track, a program designed for children to learn what animal tracks can tell you about the species. The program, which costs $5, will run from 6 to 9 p.m., and is geared for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Registration is required.

Thursday—The Madison Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at the at 7:30 p.m.

Friday— hosts Get Moving!, a program geared for children ages 2 to 5 and an adult that features yoga, finger painting and other activities from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Saturday—The  boys basketball team faces Delbarton in the quarterfinals of the Morris County Tournament at Randolph High School at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday—The Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra Winter Concert will be held at the at 3 p.m. The free concert will feature the works of Grieg, Williams, Khachaturian and J. Strauss Jr. The special guest performer is 14-year-old cellist, Sophia Bacelar, performing  the Haydn Cello Concerto in D Major.
