Former Miss NJ Teen USA to Sing National Anthem at Madison High Baseball Game

Savannah Schecter, who grew up in Mendham, will be part of Senior Night festivities on Saturday.

A former Miss New Jersey Teen USA will serenade the Madison High baseball team Saturday night as part of the Senior Night festivities.

Savannah Schecter, an actress/singer and writer from Mendham, will sing the National Anthem and will sign autographs as Madison faces Livingston at Dodge Field at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is free and food will be available.

Schecter, 20, has done everything from travel around the world to winning the title of Miss New Jersey Teen USA in 2011 and is on the verge of releasing her first album.

The Gil St. Bernard’s graduate is currently living in Manhattan and working on her musical career while studying political science and psychology at Fordham University.

The signed recording artist recently released her first single, “Colors,” which has been played on the radio and video has aired on MTV.
